Airbrush makeup

At Divine Skin, we felt it was time to offer something new – something exciting – something we know so many of you will love -AIRBRUSH MAKEUP.
Airbrush makeup is excellent for creating flawless looking skin by using light, medium or heavy coverage which is slowly sprayed on to the skin creating a smooth and even finish.

Although airbrush makeup was primarily used on celebrities, we want to give you that same V.I.P treatment that you deserve. This type of makeup is perfect for brides as it stays in place all day and is waterproof preventing smudges even after the emotional goodbyes. It is also ideal for anyone who doesn’t like the feel of heavy makeup.

On my wedding day, I chose airbrush makeup and I could instantly see and feel the difference. The airbrush foundation felt light on my skin and it gave me the full coverage I was after without making my skin look caked with foundation. Having airbrush makeup on my big day was one of the best decisions I made.

As a professional makeup artist, we love being able to give you the choice of makeup that you feel most comfortable with – whether that is normal makeup applied with brushes and sponges or airbrush makeup that is sprayed on to the skin. This type of makeup can also be used anywhere on the body to cover up any skin concerns including Eczema, Psoriasis, Pigmentation, Acne and Scars allowing you to feel comfortable within your own skin on your big day. Airbrush is also great for covering up tattoos.

Airbrush makeup works by spraying foundation directly onto the skin with an airbrush gun. The foundation mixes with tiny air particles and is dispersed as a fine mist creating micro-dots of foundation that sits evenly and flawlessly on the skin. The compressor allows for different air pressure to be used and can be adjusted depending on the type of coverage you prefer – light, medium or heavy.

In the following image, a very light layer of airbrush foundation was applied on the arm providing great coverage in less than two minutes!
