Your consultation at Divine Skin
Before we can start your laser hair removal journey at Divine Skin, you will be asked to visit our studio for a one-to-one consultation. During your consultation, your consultant will explain the process of the treatment and how to look after your skin post treatment. Your consultant will also carry out a patch test to ensure the laser is adjusted to suit your skin tone and hair type as well as assisting you on the best treatment plan outlining the length of time for your desired results. You can ask questions at any point during your consultation and patch test.

How our treatments work
Laser hair removal is an effective way of permanently destroying the hair follicles to prevent any further regrowth. The treatment works by the light from the laser being absorbed by the melanin – the pigment colour of the hair. Melanin converts the light energy into heat which then overheats and damages the bulb preventing it from producing any new hairs.
At our studio, we use the Intense Pulse Light (IPL) system for hair removal treatments however, we do not use the tradition IPL. Instead, our innovative E-Light laser system includes three advanced technologies that combine to deliver very safe and effective results. With such superior performance, we can remove up to 95% of your unwanted facial and bodily hair as the wavelengths and Radiofrequency (RF) from our machine enables the light to penetrate deeper into the skin permanently destroying the hair follicles.

As this type of treatment can be used on the face and body, the level of discomfort can vary depending on a person’s sensitivity and the area being treated. Our built-in crystal freeze cooling technology helps to alleviate any discomfort during the treatment. At most, you may feel a mild heat sensation but skin-numbing creams and anaesthetics will not be necessary. The procedure is quick and safe but if you have any worries or are feeling anxious about the treatment, please do speak to us about this during your consultation.
Absolutely. At Divine Skin Laser Studio, we can offer treatments for all skin types and hair types. This is not something many clinics can offer. A course of treatments are recommended as the hairs have to be in the correct hair growth cycle in order for the treatment to be effective. This will be discussed during your consultation.
